ReLoved Label – Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 21 October 2026
These Terms & Conditions explain how ReLoved Label operates its resale and consignment service. By submitting items for resale, clients agree to the terms set out below and will be asked to sign an individual consignment agreement before the service begins.
1. About ReLoved Label
ReLoved Label provides a resale service for selected pre-loved clothing, shoes, bags, accessories and other suitable vintage, designer and collectable items.
The service includes assessing items for suitability, researching prices, photographing and listing accepted items on appropriate selling platforms, managing sales, communicating with buyers, and arranging packaging and dispatch.
All items are accepted at the discretion of ReLoved Label.
2. Consignment Agreement
Before items are accepted for resale, clients are required to sign a consignment agreement confirming the terms of the arrangement.
The individual agreement sets out the agreed commission, consignment period, payment arrangements and other relevant conditions.
These website Terms & Conditions should be read alongside the signed consignment agreement. Where an individual agreement contains specific terms agreed with a client, those terms will apply to that consignment to the extent permitted by law.
3. Acceptance of Items
ReLoved Label focuses on quality pre-loved, mid-premium, designer and vintage items with resale potential.
Items are accepted following an assessment of their condition, brand, style, demand and suitability for resale. Submission of an item does not guarantee acceptance.
Clients must disclose any known damage, defects, alterations or other relevant issues and must ensure that they are entitled to sell the items submitted.
ReLoved Label reserves the right to decline items that do not meet its acceptance criteria.
4. Pricing and Listing
ReLoved Label researches appropriate selling prices and determines listing prices based on factors including condition, brand, market demand, comparable sales and the prices achieved for similar items.
The aim is to balance achieving a fair price for the client with selling items within a reasonable timeframe.
ReLoved Label manages the preparation and listing of accepted items and may review or adjust prices as appropriate to support sales.
There is no guarantee that any item will sell or that a particular price will be achieved.
Items may be listed on selling platforms including Vinted, eBay, Vestiaire Collective, Depop and other suitable marketplaces.
5. Commission and Client Payments
Under the standard consignment arrangement:
-
55% of the agreed sale proceeds is payable to the client.
-
45% is retained by ReLoved Label as its commission for providing the resale service.
The commission arrangement covers the services provided by ReLoved Label and the associated selling costs as agreed in the individual consignment agreement.
Client payments are made monthly for eligible completed sales, subject to the applicable payment arrangements and any pending buyer returns or refunds.
Where a sale is reversed or a buyer return is processed before the client's payout is made, the relevant sale proceeds will be excluded from that payout.
Clients should refer to their signed consignment agreement for the specific payment arrangements applicable to their items.
6. Buyer Returns, Refunds and Cancellations
Buyer returns and refunds are handled in accordance with the relevant selling platform's procedures and applicable law.
The following arrangements apply to returned items:
Returns before client payout: If an item is returned before the corresponding client payout has been made, the sale will be removed from the client's payout calculation.
Returns after client payout: Under the agreed consignment arrangement, where a client has already received payment for an item and the buyer subsequently returns it, the returned item will become the property of ReLoved Label, with no repayment or further financial adjustment required from the client.
This arrangement is intended to provide clarity about responsibility for returns and refunds after client payment. It is subject to applicable law and the signed consignment agreement.
7. Consignment Period
The standard initial consignment period is 12 months, beginning on the date agreed with the client.
During this period, ReLoved Label will manage the accepted items for resale and may refresh listings, revise prices and use appropriate selling platforms to support sales.
The consignment period and any arrangements for extending or ending it will be confirmed in the individual agreement.
8. Unsold Items
ReLoved Label cannot guarantee that every item will sell during the consignment period.
Arrangements for unsold items, including whether they will be returned, collected or dealt with in another agreed way, will be discussed with the client and confirmed in the individual consignment agreement.
Any applicable return, collection or delivery costs will be agreed with the client in advance.
Clients should contact ReLoved Label before the end of the consignment period to discuss arrangements for any remaining unsold items.
9. Care and Security of Items
ReLoved Label takes reasonable care when handling, photographing, storing, packaging and dispatching clients' items.
Items are handled for the purposes of the agreed resale service and are not to be used for personal purposes.
Clients should provide accurate information about their items and disclose any existing damage or defects before handing them over.
Although reasonable care is taken, ReLoved Label cannot guarantee that loss, damage or other unforeseen circumstances will never occur. Nothing in these Terms & Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
10. Ownership and Authority to Sell
Clients confirm that they own the items submitted or are otherwise legally authorised to arrange their sale.
Clients authorise ReLoved Label to photograph, advertise, list and sell accepted items on their behalf in accordance with the signed consignment agreement.
Items remain subject to the agreed consignment arrangement until sold or otherwise dealt with in accordance with the individual agreement and applicable law.
Any transfer of ownership arising from a buyer return after client payout will be governed by the specific return terms agreed with the client and applicable law.
11. Client Responsibilities
Clients agree to:
-
Provide accurate information about the items submitted.
-
Disclose known faults, damage, alterations and other relevant details.
